In a press release that was republished on sites such as auto123 and Canadian Driver, Volkswagen Canada announced the unveiling of the 2009 Touareg TDI Clean Diesel at the Montreal International Auto Show and its launching on the Canadian market next June.

Equipped with a 3-litre V6 engine running on clean diesel fuel, the Touareg TDI Clean Diesel is one of the first SUVs in the world to feature a selective catalytic reduction converter that reduces nitrogen oxide emissions by up to 90%. In fact, emissions coming out of the 2009 Touareg TDI 2009 are so clean that a paper tissue or handkerchief wrapped around the tailpipe won’t even get dirty.
