Calculating L/100 km in just one click.

For those of you who might be tempted to give the eco-driving experience a little try as I did the other day - or for those who might want to try to beat Louis-Alain‘s 4.2L/100 km in a Jetta TDI Clean Diesel, here is a little application that allows you to calculate your results without needing a degree in quantum physics. It’s really quite simple: you just have to enter your fuel consumption and the total kilometres covered. The application instantly gives you your L/100 km right down to the last millimetre.

I’ve just found an easier and cooler way do to the same thing: use google! In the google window, just enter your data in miles or km, and you’ll get the conversion at google speed. Ex: 4.2L/100km in mpg
