Hi,
I got my Jetta on Oct 1’09 – this is my 3rd TDI and has already 7.800kms on it. I am curious if anyone had an experience of a large bang noise in the engine / transmission comparement about 2 seconds after the start-up????
It happend about 7-8 times already; on cold & hot engine; on incline / decline and flat driveway – so I am lost for clues as to what is causing it? The dealership said that the ECU shows no problems – but this being my 3rd TDI – it doesn’t sound normal. HELP anyone???
Besides the above – OMG – what a superb driving machine – I love it! although with the power to the wheels the best I was able to achieve is 7litres/100km; far cry from the 4.8 as advertised by VW.
